All romances are different. Some are soft and sweet, mushy and meaningful; others are harsh and hard, take me as I am, all or nothing. I love writing the different emotions and the different characters involved. I don't think that my characters are all the same when it comes to how they relate to love. In The Witching Pen, Karl and Elena have the soulmate thing, and the childhood sweetheart thing going on. In The Sands Of Time, Pueblo and Amy ... well, it's complicated and very different to what Karl and Elena have -- very different. I love my characters -- they drive the romance, and hopefully it all unfolds exactly as it should. No matter how bizarrely that may be.
