The blurb for Reign Of The Wolf will be posted end of June, as will the start of all updates and comments on the series and characters as I write the last book, so if you're a fan of the Eye Of The Storm series, pop back end of June for everything to do with werewolves.
Summer's End is completed and around 86,000 words in length. It will be published imminently in eBook form, and the paperback will be out end of June with the chance to order a signed copy nearer the time. I'm awaiting the manuscript back from the editor, and then I have to get those corrections in there, and then we're ready to roll. I'm also moving house at the same time, so please bear with me, because there are a lot of boxes and packing and unpacking, paperwork, and setting up WiFi, and so on. That's in part why there's not as much promo surrounding this book - I'm all over the place (literally). If you hang around my Facebook page, you'll be treated to some Summer's End quotes over the next 3 weeks (posted at random intervals), possibly some early reviews from ARC readers and lots of photos of boxes, beaches, and summer in our new house. You'll find the latest excerpt HERE.
SPECIAL OFFER: The Spell of Summer is ONLY $0.99 / £0.99 until end of June, 2016. If you haven't read this beautiful story yet, now is the time to grab it! It can be read as a standalone, although it's best to read The Spell of Summer before book two, Summer's End. (So grab it, grab it, grab it!)
Lastly, if you've been following these posts from my website, you'll know I struggled to write Summer's End through burnout / writer's block / depression / delayed grief. (Maybe I was channelling my characters - I've joked about "method writing" before - my literary take on method acting - but it happens to me lots, often without me realising it!). I get into the mode.
But I feel a huge burden lifted now we can finally move home, and I'm hoping beyond hope this is the change I've been waiting for to lift me out of the dip I've been in for the past 8 months - I honestly believe this to be the case, because I already feel the motivation is back for writing and setting up my new office, and everything. I can't wait - and I can't wait to start Reign Of The Wolf either. It's likely Reign will be published after October now (the last two books in the series were each out at end of Oct in previous years, so there is this unintentional pattern there), but I'll let you know once I've started writing and once I'm in the flow. I'll then have a much better idea of everything and will be able to organise the preorders for the book.
Thanks so much!
